Marine Equipment Sourcing
What we need from you
The information that makes sourcing accurate
The more of this you can supply, the more precisely the requirement can be matched. Partial information is still workable — we identify what is missing and ask for it.
Equipment identity
Maker, model, type and rating as printed on the nameplate, drawing or manual.
Part identification
Part number, drawing number, serial number or a clear photograph of the nameplate.
Application
Vessel type, system the unit serves, operating duty and any class requirement.
Condition accepted
New, used or refurbished, and whether inspection or testing information is required.
Quantity and timing
Units required, minimum quantity and the date the equipment is needed by.
Delivery point
Port, yard, city or forwarder where the equipment must be delivered.
Eight stages
From requirement to delivery support
Each stage produces information you can act on. Nothing is described as available, tested or certified unless that has been confirmed with the source.
